Well Records page.
The province and its partners (36 Conservation Authorities and 10 communities) operate the
Provincial Groundwater Monitoring Network to collect baseline water level and quality data from some 450 wells across Ontario.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has number of
Water Well Publications
for obtaining the best water quality through protection,
construction and maintaining of the wells, and testing and
understanding the water quality aspects.

The Ontario Ministry of Environment's Wells
page and the Water Supply Wells- Requirements and Best Management Practices (2009) manual
provides well information for well owners, contractors and technicians.
The information includes the relevant legislation and information
on constructing, maintaining and decommissioning a well.
A Directory of Licensed Well Drillers is maintained by the Ministry of Environment.
